Updated USA plans

I think I said in first post that we dont have any plans...well, now we do. First I thought it would be "cool" to have no plans at all, but then I realized that its just stupid not to have plans. USA is huge country and just driving around two months doenst make any sense. If we want to enjoy the trip to the fullest, we have to know little bit where and when we are going. Alltogether we have some 60 days time to spend in US and this how we gonna divide it. The places below are the ones we gonna spend a night or more. The plan is very flexible and we might change it but at the moment it sounds realistic and rational and -whats most important- exciting and fun!

Fast calculations give us 10 days in LA. That includes few extra days so if something happens during the trip we dont have to change the route too much. There are few other locations where we can save day or two if its not too exciting or we are in hurry (thats impossible though, we're on holiday!) and then again we made it possible to stay longer in some other places.

The trip will be 9200km/5750miles long. It means that if we drive every day, it would be 150km for each single day. We have planned the drive so that we drive 4-5 hours per day. We have few days when we drive only 3 hours and then again few days with seven or even eight hours of driving. It shouldnt be too rough but we will see :)

At the moment im really catching the "travel fever". Little by little im starting to realize that we are really leaving. Its nice to work in the factory eight hours per day, i have good time to make plans and dream about all the possibilities we have during the trip. I just asked my boss today if its possible to work to September also. He wasnt too sure yet, he promised to know more tomorrow... I hope its ok, if not, im in big trouble.. We have had few contacts through Hospitality Club and accommodation in NYC looks quite clear at the moment, thansk to everybody who has shown interest to give us a place to stay.
