something in english again

Okay, today is our last day in Washington. Its 5.30pm now and we are waiting to get a car, we should get it at 8pm at airport. Then we gonna drive to Canada, Niagara Falls. Its 7h drive...It has been a quite fun here but then again this place is not one the most interesting cities in the world...

We came here last weeks monday, 2am and were totally exhausted. We spent the next day inside just hanging around. it was raining also. Wednesday we started to explore the city, we went to museums and walked a lot.

We also met our second host, Michael. We spent two nights at his place and it was cool. He is moving permanently to Switzerland in a month so he will be European too. We had together expensive breakfast and few beers and last he actually gave me a winter jacket! That was so nice, now i dont have to freeze to death in Niagara Falls.

What else...well, Mike went to Cleveland so we had to find a place to stay again. We contacted one girl but she replied too late so we booked hostel for three more nights. This hostel is quite nice but little bit too expensive i think.. Anyway, most of our time in DC we have just been walking around. We have been in Museum of natural history, Zoo, National Archives, Air and Space Museum, Arlington Cemetery, Pentagon (well not inside), Holocaust museum (that was very impressing) and so on. The best thing in this city is that almost everything is free. All the museums and sights so far has been free so it little bit compensates the expensive hostel.

here we have met a punch of new interesting people. I went out for beer with Peter when Eve was sleeping. We propably gonna meet him in Chicago. then we met Pascal and his little brother from Germany, we should meet them in Niagara Falls again. We have also had a few different roommates from various parts of the states, like californian-japanese guy who stayed with us last night.

Now its time to say goodbye to Washington and look forward. The most challenging part of our trip will start in few hours and we have thousands of miles driving ahead of us. Thats about it.
